Worn Tractor Tire

Cut by rocks, sticks and whatever kind of rude items that can be found in a cornfield, this tire has earned it's patina.

tractor rust

This tractor carcass has developed an a rich exposed type of rust. An inverted tin can over the exhaust pipe prevents rain from getting into the engine block. It has probably been a while since anyone...

There is no tire for this fender to be fending but it is the absence of the tire that allows us to see the inner side of the fender.

This lone spotlight seems to be peering off into the distance. Is it discerning the future or remembering the past?

lone tractor

lone tractor
One might be tempted to say this tractor stands alone in its field. Perhaps in the past it did. Now it stands in the derelict company of its forlorn agricultural peers.

iron tractor wheels

You didn't need rubber white iron wheels like this. Then again I'd bet these iron wheels might give a bumpy ride on modern roads.

tractor hoods

What do you do when you have three or four spare tractor hoods? Well, if they're all the same type you pile 'em all together on the proper tractor!

There are almost no parts left on this tractor frame. But it doesn't look like it's going anywhere soon. there is a tree growing through one of the frame openings!

The iron on this old farm equipment has taken on a green patina from the summer shade of the tree is rests under.

"Them wheels are Solid Steel..." is probably the pitch that closed the sale on this old iron-horse tractor. It probably didn't give too smooth a ride on the pavement, but how many roads were paved back...

Rusting Tractor Parts

Like-to-like is how you file items in this tractor junkyard. This old tractor has four grill pieces piled upon it (one is still mounted on the front and the last is out of view from this perspective.)

Missin

rusty tractor

This old tractor is missing one of its front wheels. I'm guessing it was removed after it arrived in it's current location.

One might sat that this is a long row of hoe-ers, but I guess when you are using a tractor it is called cultivatin'.
