There are many keepers of Koi Carp who have much to say about a Blue Heron's taste for expensive pondfood. It is our hope that their bitterness and anger will be mollified by the sight of this Heron having snatched a meal of the mammalian variety. If you ever seen a Great Blue Heron standing in the middle of a field for hours they are not just admiring the view. They have great patience and will stand for as long as needs be until the curious gopher or ground squirrel pokes its head out to see what the weather is like.
