Out on the farm it is important that your dog pulls his or her weight around the place. It's not enough any more that they just bark at strangers and chase foxes out of the chicken house. While smaller breeds like this one may not be able to buck bales of hay, there is no reason why they can't do their share of plowing, cultivating and other tractor work... After all, kibble don't grow on trees.
