Trillium Sessile - One of my books also identifies this as \"Wake Robin\" howeever if I look up \"Wake Robin\" in oither books the name is linked to the Jack-in-the-Pulpit plant and this definately isn\'t that.
This is the Trillium. There are varieties of Trillium that grow just about everywhere. These are some that grow in the Missouri Ozarks. They like damp areas and seem to thrive in the hollows of the hills where there are still woods about. A trickle of water along the bottom of the hollow doesn\'t hurt at all. These were growing right by the water... I was in it.
