Crabapple-Bud

When Spring has spring and the Sun's warmth makes your toes itch to get free from those shoes they have been cramped up in all winter and wiggle in the grass and burrow in the sand, the trees and flowers are getting ideas of their own along those lines. They uncurl their leaves and put on a display to welcome you back outdoors. When the daffodils are just about done with their show, the Crabapple trees queue up their buds. Here is a burgundy-colored one about 4 days from opening.
