| This lovely pink and white flower is known as Soapwort. The roots are saponacious and if you wished you could wash your hands with them... It is one of those self-fulfilling prophecies. If you dig up a bunch of these roots you are going to have to wash you hands anyhow! They have the most lovely fragrance. Ti ia a member of the legume family and the form of the leaves and buds is fascinating. |
