Lonesome Household

Out in the flat, open Eastern half of of Montana you will find endless prairie. The children of the pioneers... perhaps the second generation... received their education in tiny little school houses that seem to be scattered randomly about the state... You recall the proverbial tales of walking five miles through the snow to get to school... well these were the places they were walking to. Nowadays it seems the kids don't know how - or aren't allowed - to walk to school.
