Ralph Lanning was a prolific folk-sculptor wo lived in Republic, Missouri. He died December, 2009 at the age of 93. Whenever I stopped by Ralph came out and visited and the visits generally turned into a tour of the entire premises. When his wife, Gretchen, was alive she would join in. They were both quite talented and creative, Gretchen wove rugs and was am amazing crocheter.
