| Here is the bud of the Soapwort plant just before it opens up. It is hard to imagine the full and round flower emerging from this spindly bud, but it makes the amazing transformation every time. At this stage it looks like a collection of claws or something from outer space. You can see the promise of delicate shading in the violet blush. |
