The endless flatness of South Dakota juxtaposed against an endless sky. I stood on my truck forgetting that my headlights were wearing doen my battery as I shot this. My shadow mehind me stretched further and further until it, too, reached the far horizon. Later on, my truck completely dead, I was saved by a farm boy who turned his truck around and matched his bumper to mine to get my car started with a push.
