I was driving North from Arco Idaho (the first city to be lit by electricity generated from a nuclear reactor.) It was late September and the first snow of the season had dusted the mountains the night before. The dense clouds of the morning were breaking up and only a few shreds were creeping along the sides of the mountain ridge.
